Forge Worlds are the sovereign domains of the Adeptus Mechanicus and are vital to the continued existence of the Imperium. This is because the Mechanicus holds the monopoly on technological knowledge of Terra's past. The Forge Worlds are gigantic factories forever churning out all of the Imperium's technology, from combat knives to battle tanks, from trucks to battleships. All originate from the Forge Worlds.

It is common for a planet's ecosystem to be completely destroyed following its complete industrialisation, its seas and oceans are dried up to make way for more factories, the air is saturated with toxic gases and rivers of toxic run-off flow from factories. Fighting on the multi-level refineries of a Forge World is even more dangerous than standard warfare. If fighting on a planet where the enemy could be planning an ambush around every corner wasn't bad enough you have to contend with an environment that is also trying to kill you!

The Sector Mechanicus scenery range from Games Workshop adds multi-level modular terrain to their existing range wargame terrain. Due to the creative flexibility and modular nature, multiples of each set can be combined into larger and more extraordinary creations. The Sky is the limit!

The Genestealer Cults are masters of adapting to their environment and using every resource at their disposal to achieve their goals. They have learned to harness the power of Tectonic Fragdrills, machines that can make pinpoint assaults on the most volatile parts of the planet’s crust, resulting in a localised earthquake. Effectively masting these devices the Cult can cause maximum disruption to their foes on the battlefield

The Sector Mechanicus Tectonic Fragdrill kit contains 2 brand-new scenery frames to construct the Tectonic Fragdrill and accompanying drill platform. This kit features the Genestealer Cults Faction Keyword in Games of Warhammer 40,000
